Privacy Policy

This policy explains how VextCAD (“we”) handles personal data when you use this website, the portal, the API, the MCP server and the design assistant.
What we collect
- Your account: email address, and your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google. API keys are stored only as a hash.
- A one-way hash of your normalized email address, kept so that each mailbox receives one signup gift.
- Invites: which account invited yours, and the rewards paid.
- What you submit: messages, files, sketches and documents, along with the builds and results made from them.
- Usage: builds, Ingot balance and a record of every change to it, and technical logs such as request times and errors.
- The contact form: your name, email, company and message, your browser's user agent, and a hash of your IP address.
How we use it
- To run the service, stop abuse, answer you, and keep track of usage. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Who receives it
- Anthropic, the AI model provider: the messages, files and images you give the design assistant.
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, storage and sign-in. Data is stored in Singapore.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Conversations and build files: about 30 days after they were last updated. An image you attach stays with its conversation for that time.
- Uploaded files: about 1 day. Technical logs: about 30 days. Backups may last a little longer.
- Your account, Ingot records and the email hash: while the account exists. The email hash is kept after an account is deleted, so the signup gift cannot be claimed again.
- Contact form messages: as long as we need them to answer you.
In your browser
- The portal keeps your sign-in session, your language and any invite code in your browser's storage. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by writing to contact@vextcad.com. You can stop using the service at any time.
- VextCAD is not meant for children under 18.
